PLAYING THE PIANO

PLAYING THE PIANO

One day I was dozing on a coach

The sun was shining through the window

A cat was lying next to me

I could feel the warmth of her fur

Suddenly I heard a sweet music

Hands going swiftly over the keyboard

Fingers touching the black and white notes

Oh, how could you make the piano play

Oh, how could you make the piano play

Oh, how could you make the piano play

Never hearing one wrong note

Was it Mozart, Bach or Chopin

Or was it just your own improvisation

Again, I am dozing on a couch

Another cat is lying next to me

But the piano isn’t playing anymore

Music is only going around in my head

Still I can remember some melodies

A blissful smile appears on my face

That music will always belong to me

Never leaving and staying forever

Never leaving and staying forever

Oh, how could you make the piano play

Oh, how could you make the piano play

……………….

Never leaving and staying forever

Never leaving and staying forever
